The Arden 50 Stone Bariatric Dual Motor
The Arden riser recliner is a stunning multi function bariatric chair. Available in three seat heights, 16" 18" and 20" and a choice of wipeable healthcare grade fabrics and standard domestic fabrics.
The seating position can be changed from that of a dual motor standard chair to that of a Tilt in Space dual motor chair. A standard dual motor chair allows the user to raise their feet whilst maintaining an upright backrest (if required), the addition of a Tilt in Space mechanism will allow the user to then have their position tilted to a position which puts their ankles higher than their hips, a very useful feature that will be of benefit to help aleviate the symptoms of a number of heath conditions.
Another very useful feature of this chair is the extending footrest, as the footrest is raised it will extend to around an extra 2" to provide a longer overall chaise length, this will provide better lower leg support. The 16" high chair will provide a chaise length of approximately 38" and the 18" high chair will provide approximately 40". The chaise is the distance from the back of the seat to the end of the footplate.
The back cushions of the chair are a fully adjustable 'waterfall back' design, these can be individually adjusted by unzipping and removing the some of the stuffing as and if required, additional inserts can also be purchased to help further adjust the back cushions.
