Pachyphytum 'Captain Jessop' - Purple Succulent
This is cross between Pachyphytum oviferum and Pachyphytum viride, created by Captain Jessop. This plant has purple leaves that become quite deep in colour with good light. The leaves could be 8-10cm long and are almond-shaped forming a rosette patter. The medium heads offset slowly to form a clump; in 5 years the plant might reach 30cm across. Flowers are cream with red centers and come up on short stems. Grown in a 9 cm pot your plant will be shipped bare rooted in the summer months, ready for potting up into your own gritty compost and free draining pots. In winter we will ship in pots to ensure the minimal root disturbance in these colder dormant months.
