A Fisherman's Tale is an unusual adventure game, prepared with virtual reality technology in mind (for the premiere it received support for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and Windows Mixed Reality goggles). The mechanics and history of this production refer to the so-called recursion - that is, a situation in which a thing (in logic, e.g. a definition) refers to itself. Vertigo Games, Interspace VR and ARTE are responsible for creating this title. Story The player takes on the role of Bob - a fisherman's puppet who leads a lonely "life" in his colorful house. Bob has no idea what's going on outside his house, but when the radio starts broadcasting a storm alarm, he heads to the top of the lighthouse to turn on the light. Outside, however, something completely unexpected awaits him Gameplay We observe the action in A Fisherman's Tale from the protagonist's eyes. Our task is to explore the three-dimensional environment and gradually discover its secrets. Fun most often consists in interacting with various objects and solving logical puzzles, which often require breaking various laws of physics. The world of the production in question has been designed very interestingly and is characterized by a high level of complexity (e.g. one object may be inside another).
