It splits the RS485 ATS Databus into 4 isolated ATS-slave loops. These slave loops can be used to isolate peripherals from different areas. Therefore the isolator can isolate up to 4 Areas. Shorts or open in one or more slave-loops will not interrupt the other slave-loops and the master-loop. A control panel which controls 16 areas can have 4 isolators.
