Baldwin Boxall Ambient Noise Weatherproof Sensor BVRAMBIP

Baldwin Boxall Ambient Noise Weatherproof Sensor BVRAMBIP

Baldwin Boxall Ambient Noise Weatherproof Sensor BVRAMBIPWhen designing a voice alarm system for areas of variable levels of ambient noise which could cause problems with audibility noise sensors should be included. Correctly placed ambient noise sensors will ensure that all announcements are clearly heard.Key FeaturesTwo versions are available BVRAMB - standard version. BVRAMBIP - IP65 rated version.Monitors the ambient noise in a given area.Automatically adjusts the power of the amplifiers depending on noise level. When the area is at its quietest the level of the announcements or music will reduce.During busynoisy periods the volume level adjusts to suit.Used in conjunction with a BVRDCI CANBUS interface module which connects to the VIGIL EVAS routers.Uses a dynamic microphone capsule the output of which is amplified and converted to produce a variable current. This output is used by the BVRDCI module to produce a voltage that is proportional to the ambient noise.Band pass filtering ensures that the system only responds to ambient noise affecting the intelligibility of announcements. An on-board surveillance tone generator permanently monitors the microphone capsule. A system fault will be indicated should the microphone capsule or on-board amplifier fail. The BVRAMB includes an option to allow one of three response speeds to be selected SLOW - the system will only respond to an average change of ambient noise. MEDIUM - suitable for most installations. FAST - the system will react to short duration changes in ambient noise. Two units can be wired in parallel on the same input to monitor the ambient noise over a larger area.

Kidde Airsense EST-DFMS Fireman Microphone

Kidde Airsense EST-DFMS Fireman Microphone

Kidde Airsense EST-DFMS Fireman MicrophoneA EST ENT VES fireman microphone is a monitored external device working with Control Units in a redundant communication ring. It can thereby perform a superior function of a system control unit too.A fireman microphone can be used to activate alarm messages as well as general public announcements to choose individual zones and to broadcast live voice messages. It is equipped with programmable function keys which can be used to assign functions as required. Up to 5 EST-EKB-20M keyboard extensions with additional function keys can be attached to a fireman microphone.A CPU switch enables immediate and direct broadcasting of announcements to all zones without any involvement of the control system even during a failure of the central processor. The microphone is able to automatically detect a key failure and an audio path from the microphone capsule inclusive to the Control Unit. A fireman microphone is also equipped with an intercom function and is able to communicate with other microphones in the system.Key FeaturesMonitored microphone and connection of the microphone module to the systemA dedicated evacuation key 3 fully-programmable keys with a possibility of connecting up to five 20-key extensionsBuilt-in 2 contact inputs and 2 relay outputsPOE or external feeder-based power supplyBlack-box function recording all announcements played during an alarmBuilt-in SFP modules and CAT5e for simplicity of implementation of the loop topologyRS485 for communication with external systemsIntercom function between all fireman and zone microphones

Scope TLINKAC Telemetry System for One-way Link DL3-05-AC amp RX10SAC

Scope TLINKAC Telemetry System for One-way Link DL3-05-AC amp RX10SAC

Scope TLINKAC Telemetry System for One-way Link DL3-05-AC RX10SACT-Link takes a 5-zone DigiLink transmitter and combines it with a RX10 receiver and two aerials to produce an off the shelf one-way radio link between fire or intruder panels. The transmitter has five input zones which can be triggered by volts-free opening or closing contacts or can be configured to accept voltage applied or voltage removed. The system is supplied pre-configured to operate change-of-state so a closing contact at the transmitter sends a signal to the receiver to activate the corresponding zone output relay. When the transmitter input is de-activated the relay is deactivated so the output actually follows the input. A programming kit is available if you need to reconfigure the system. Additional transmitters and receivers can be added when needed. This can simply be achieved by installing Digilink transmitters and receivers adjacent to the fire or security panels where their relay contacts can be hard wired into the output inputs of the panel in order to provide wireless alarm signals between buildings. For roaming fire marshals and security personnel the serial output of the receiver can be connected to the Scope Connexions Range of paging transmitters in order to send pre-programmed text messages to pocket worn pagers. It is also possible to connect the printer output of analogue addressable panel to a serial port of the Connexions transmitter in order to transmit real time panel messages to the pagers thus saving valuable time by not having to view the message at the panel. The same format could also be deployed for access control plant monitoring lone worker and care home applications where staff has to be made aware of situations arising from automated or manual inputs.

Patol 710-020 Controller 5020 for Spares Only

Patol 710-020 Controller 5020 for Spares Only

Patol 710-020 Controller 5020 for Spares Only - for use with Sensor Models 5010 5012 5712The 5020 controller is directly connected to the sensor. A series of user programmable DIL switches allows option selection including detector sensitivity settings automanual reset sequence selection and single coincidence voting from the four individual internal detection channels for the alarm trip and shutdown outputs. The Sensor Unit is located above the materials transit path e.g. conveyor by means of the adjustable mounting bracket and aligned such that the monitored hazard passes through the sensors field of view. The height and angle of the sensor determine the width of the monitored path. The Type 5020 Control Unit provides various indications and controls related to infra-red detection alarms and fault monitoring. The control module is easily de-mountable from the housing and connects to the sensor by means of a ten core screened shielded cable. These terminations together with supply and output contact connections are via two part screw terminals thus enabling installation of the housing and site cables prior to fitment of the module. The housing has a high level of ingress protection IP67.The unit incorporates a user programmable DIL switch to set the options which include detector sensitivity setting automanual reset sequence selection and one-shot coincidence voting for the alarm and tripshutdown outputs. The sensor air pressure and signal cable connections are fault monitoredfail safe. The unit incorporates an aux. fault input common fault output contact. The 5020 Controller also includes LED indication of the four detector channels along with LED indication and relay outputs for Alarm Trip and Fault. The controller can be provided in an optional outer control panel together with power supplies battery chargers DIN rail terminals as required.Key FeaturesMaterial Fan Case - White Polyester Resin Impellors - Aluminium 1200 H14IP Rating IP44Weight 8.5Kg
