The title was developed by the authors of the first installment of the series, i.e. the independent Weappy Studio team from Minsk.
Story
Action This is the Police 2 takes place in Sharpwood - a small little town in the north of the United States. The players go to the town when Lilly Reed becomes the new lady sheriff, who tries to restore order here. Unfortunately, this is not an easy task, as the border town attracts organized crime, which small-town law enforcement officers cannot cope with at all. To make matters worse, Reed's subordinates were not used to obeying orders given by young women. Things take an unexpected turn with the appearance of the mysterious Warren Nash in the city, although only in the course of the game players can see what impact this person will have on the inhabitants.
Gameplay
As in the original, the gameplay scheme in This is the Police 2 is based on two pillars. During the game, we manage law enforcement officers, give them orders, and take care of their equipment, providing them with better and better equipment. Nevertheless, each policeman has an individual set of strengths and weaknesses, as well as their own moods, which give the impression of a living character. The same applies to the inhabitants of the town, whose sympathy should be sought - after all, you never know if acquaintance with influential people will save our lives. All this is complemented by the necessity to make decisions, often morally ambiguous - the goals set for us can be achieved both by sticking to the rules and by resorting to controversial solutions such as establishing cooperation with criminals.
