Softshell navy melange w navy reverse

Softshell navy melange w navy reverse

Stylish in Softshell Softshell is a hit for both adults and kids! It's stylish, practical, and comfortable to wear. Sew a simple vest with pockets, a jacket, a coat with a 2-way zip for cycling, or perhaps an all-in-one suit suitable for adventures in the woods and walks with the dog in the unpredictable Danish weather.   Softshell is designed to be both breathable and windproof. It consists of an outer material that is windproof and water-repellent, while the inside is soft and flexible. All in all, it's a combination that offers you great comfort and freedom of movement.  The quality is windproof and waterproof with a water column pressure of 5,000 mm and good breathability of 3,000 mm.  Softshell or Rainwear? In general, softshell is more breathable than traditional rainwear, making it more comfortable to wear when you're active.  Many wear softshell regardless of the weather: You're prepared for a rain shower, and at the same time, the soft inner layer keeps you comfortably warm.  About Water Column Pressure Water column pressure indicates how much water the material can withstand before it starts to penetrate. The higher the water column pressure, the more waterproof it is. A good rule of thumb is that +2,000 mm is suitable for light rain showers/short trips in the rain, while +5,000 is for a heavier rain shower or a couple of hours in light rain. If you're going to be out in heavy rain, we recommend +8,000 mm.  Some Practical Information This fabric consists of 95% polyester and 5% elastane. The fabric measures 140 cm in width, and you decide how many meters you want to order.  When you start sewing in softshell, we recommend using a universal needle size 80.  What is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®? OEKO-TEX® is the world's leading health label for textiles.  When the fabric is certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, it's your guarantee that it has been tested and approved and is free from any harmful chemicals.

Heavy linen off-white

Heavy linen off-white

Heavy Linen for DIY  Linen creates a lovely sense of texture in the home! Especially in these beautiful natural colours.     Use linen for long curtains, which create cosiness without entirely blocking out the sun from outside. Or embroider graphic patterns, words, or motifs onto linen, stretch it over a piece of wood, and use it as modern art on the walls.     Setting the Table with Linen  You also can't ignore linen when setting the table. Linen is perfect for a rustic tablecloth, perhaps with matching napkins, which you can simply throw in the washing machine and reuse time and time again.    This heavy linen is also suitable for cushions for the sofa or a cosy basket for your four-legged friends.     Linen – The Natural Material  Linen is a natural fibre that has been used for clothing for thousands of years. It's a durable, lightweight, breathable, and absorbent material, often used in warm weather. It tends to wrinkle, making it perfect for a more casual look.     Did you know that linen becomes softer when you wash it several times?     A Bit More About This Linen  The fabric is made of 100% linen, comes in a width of 140 cm and exactly the length you need. This linen shrinks by 8% when washed.     We recommend using universal needles in size 80 when sewing with this linen.     What is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®?  OEKO-TEX® is the world's leading health certification for textiles.   When the fabric is certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, it's your guarantee that it has been tested and approved, and is free from any harmful chemicals.

Lightweight Linen for Summer DIY  Linen comes in various thicknesses; here you get one of the lighter qualities with fine weaves. Choose your favourite colour, and use the linen for summer clothing such as a cool bucket hat, lovely shirts, and airy trousers. Linen allows the skin to breathe and is light and comfortable to wear.     Linen for the Home  Linen also works well when making soft toys and decorations, where you want that slightly rustic, natural look.     We also love linen for table settings! Allow the tablecloth to wrinkle slightly with matching napkins and use a coarse stone as a "napkin ring" to keep everything in place in the summer breeze. Or iron everything before use for a classic look.     Linen – the Natural Material  Linen is a natural fibre that has been used for clothing for thousands of years.
