Premium quality overlock thread in 100 % polyester, suitable for use with all overlockers. Overlock thread is slightly finer than regular sewing thread. An overlocker works differently than a sewing machine. Overlocked seams are stretchier. While an overlocker sews with one or two needles and two loopers, a sewing machine sews with an upper thread and a lower thread that lock together between the fabric layers. In overlock stitching, two threads wrap around the edge of the fabric. Essentially, overlock stitching creates a seam and binds edges at the same time. Due to the special overlocker technique and threading, overlock thread is available on 5000 m cones. Our overlock thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified.

Woven viscose white

Woven viscose white

Light, colourful and a beautiful drape! Viscose is a popular fabric for many fashion designs. It's a light and soft material with good breathability, while also being comfortable to wear.  The beautiful drape is especially pronounced in tops, dresses, and shirts, where even with the simplest designs, you achieve a stylish look. The design is up to you: Does the shirt need a small collar? The top a boat neck? Or are you into ruched details?  That being said, viscose is also well-suited for light trousers. We prefer them with a bit of width in the legs, so you once again benefit from the lovely drape.  Choose from many stunning colours.  What is viscose? Viscose has been used for clothing for over 100 years. The fabric consists of processed and regenerated cellulose, for example from wood pulp or cotton waste. It resembles natural fibres like cotton and silk.  Some practicalities The fabric is 100% viscose, is 130 cm wide, and you can of course choose the length you need. Wash at 40°C, iron at medium heat, and allow to air dry. Expect 5% shrinkage after washing.  Remember to use the right needles – we recommend using a universal needle or a microtex needle in size 70.

And sew lovely decorative cushions that you can take in the caravan or on the boat.     What is cerdalon?  Cerdalon is made from coloured acrylic fibres. It's suitable for outdoor upholstery, being resistant to chlorine and salt water, having a high lightfastness and good wear resistance. Cerdalon is available in solid colours and yarn-dyed stripes.    Purchase the length you need for your project and remember the right sewing needles – we recommend using universal needles in size 90/100.    Furthermore, we recommend ironing it regularly to restore its water and dirt repellent properties

Use satin in interior designThere are many different types of satin. This satin is a mix of polyester and cotton and is therefore particularly suitable for home furnishings, such as curtains and tablecloths.Satin refers to the way the fabric is woven. The composition of this satin gives you a material with an elegant semi-mat finish that emphasises the beautiful weave. TIP: Check your sewing machine's thread tension on a test piece before you start sewing. It's often a good idea to loosen the thread tension (you can tell if your fabric is stretched or the thread is forming small loops).
