International Gas Detectors Dynamic Duct Adaptor 5999201The Dynamic duct adaptor relies on the gas velocity in a process to induce a flow in the probe to deliver gas to the gas detector. Typical applications are ventilation duct monitoring in a variety of processes. The clamp flange arrangement allows easy removal of the detector for service access and during fitment to the process. Internal baffles protect the detector and allow the optional fitting of filters if required. Typically the probe operates down to a minimum of 3MS. The internal baffle arrangement provides a degree of protection against foreign matter and a degree of temperature protection up to a process temperature of 70 degrees centigrade. In the event of flow failure gas will still be monitored by diffusion into the probe although response times will be extended. A calibration port is provided as part of the assembly.

The bulkhead will clamp up to 50mm to provide a through the wall termination. The bulkhead can be fitted with an optional Luer Lock style disk filter. If this is a requirement contact IGD for advise for suitable filters to match the environmental conditions.

International Gas Detectors Eductor Modular Sampler 5799101The Eductor Modular Sampler EMS can be added to any standard Tocsin 102 series gas detector. The basic EMS screws mounts to the detector using the accessory mounting thread. Compressed air is used to generate a flow using a patented venturi system. The induced flow does not impinge directly on the detector face but follows a path that ensures any particulate matter is directed away from the detector face allowing only the gas stream to be sampled. This ensures freedom from contamination a long detector life and excellent response time to the gas flow. The ejected gas stream is diluted by the air supply making it safer to handle and if necessary can be tubed away. The unit has no moving parts ensuring minimum maintenance and maximum reliability. As a further accessory a low flow detect alarm unit can be added as a further safeguard to both detect low flow from the tube blockages or loss of slow due to failure of the air supply.Please Note The image is just for illustrative purposes. This is particularly useful where mounting onto sheet metal duct work which will not take the weight of Type 3 Type 4 or Dynamic style adaptors. Note that this style of probe works best where there is negligible duct and debris in the gas system.
