The PurgeNet Machine Interface revolutionises the Weld Purge Monitor by enabling users to set a minimum parts per million (PPM) level in alignment with the welding parameters. If the oxygen content in the purge gas drops to this level during welding, the interface triggers an automatic shutdown of the welding power source, temporarily halting the welding process until the PPM level increases again. This feature is indispensable for critical welds as it guarantees consistent weld quality on every occasion. The interface connects to the port on the Weld Purge Monitor, and it also accommodates an optional PurgeAlarm Visual Alarm Indicator. Furthermore, the lead facilitates charging for the Weld Purge Monitor and enables communication of oxygen readings through industry-standard 4020A current loop and relay signals.
