Memoria is a continuation of The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav (the Polish subtitle of the original is: Klątwa wron). Just like the previous part, this production belongs to the genre of point and click adventure games. In both cases, the developer is Daedalic Entertainment studio. The sequel takes place five centuries after Princess Sadja, from the distant land of Fasar, ventured into the Gorian Desert to confront the demons that reign there. She strove to win the title of the greatest heroine in history. Unfortunately, it was mysteriously lost shortly thereafter and was eventually forgotten. The protagonist of the game is a young boy named Geron. One day he meets a traveling trader Fahi, who promises to restore his girlfriend to her human form in exchange for unraveling the mystery of Sadja who has been lost centuries ago. Geron agrees to the terms of the contract without hesitation in order to be able to see his beloved Nuri again, who was turned into a raven in the prequel. The boy does not know, however, that it is a real challenge. He may be in great danger. The action of the game, as standard in the case of classic point and click adventure titles, consists in exploring subsequent locations, finding and combining items, talking with NPCs and solving logical puzzles. Kevin Mentz, author of the story A New Beginning and co-author of the screenplay of Deponia, is responsible for the story of Memoria.
