Apollo XP95 Multisensor Detector 55000-885APO

Apollo XP95 Multisensor Detector 55000-885APO

Apollo XP95 Multisensor Detector 55000-885APOThe XP95 multisensor Detector contains an optical smoke sensor and a thermistor temperature sensor whose outputs are combined to give the final analogue value. The multisensor construction is similar to that of the optical detector but uses a different lid and optical mouldings to accommodate the thermistor temperature sensor. The sectional view shows the arrangement of the optical chamber and thermistor. The signals from the optical smoke sensing element and the temperature sensor are independent and represent the smoke level and the air temperature respectively in the vicinity of the detector. The detectors microcontroller processes the two signals. The temperature signal processing extracts only rate of rise information for combination with the optical signal. The detector will not respond to a slow temperature increase - even if the temperature reaches a high level. A large sudden change in temperature can however cause an alarm without the presence of smoke if sustained for 20 seconds. The processing algorithms in the multisensor incorporate drift compensation. The control panel must not have a drift compensation algorithm enabled. The sensitivity of the detector is considered the optimum for most general applications since it offers good response to both smouldering and flaming fires.Key FeaturesSensitive to a wide range of firesWell suited for environments such as hotel bedroomsUnaffected by wind or atmospheric pressureOther part codes include AD-2004

Apollo Integrated Base Sounder - Slow Whoop with Isolator 45681-290APO

Apollo 45681-300APO Integrated Base Sounder - DIN-Tone with Isolator

Apollo 45681-300APO Integrated Base Sounder - DIN-Tone with Isolator

Apollo 45681-300APO Integrated Base Sounder - DIN-Tone with IsolatorThe Integrated Base Sounder comprises of a base sounder with integral mounting base and is for use with Discovery or XP95 ranges. It is designed for indoor use.Electrical DescriptionThe integrated base sounder is line powered and needs no external power supply. It operates at 1728V DC and is polarity-sensitive.Mechanical ConstructionThe integrated base sounder is moulded in polycarbonate and has stainless steel contacts that accept solid or stranded cables of up to 2.5mm.Device AddressingADDRESSING The integrated base sounder responds to its own individual address set with a DIL switch. It also responds both to a group address set by means of a 4-segment DIL switch and to a pulsed-mode synchronisation address which is embedded in the unit. GROUP ADDRESSING It may be desirable in alarm conditions to switch more than one integrated base sounder simultaneously. To enable this sounders may be controlled as a group and given a group address which is common to all sounders in the group. When a device recognises its group address it will process the forward command bits but it will not return any data to the control panel on that ad dress. If it is required to confirm the status of the outputs of devices under group address control it is necessary to interrogate all devices in the group at their individual addresses.CommunicationXP95 Discovery and CoreProtocol compatibleKey FeaturesTwo tonesTwo volume ranges 55-75dBA and 75-91dBAIndividual and group addressingUnique acoustic self-testBuilt-in isolator

Apollo XP95 Heat Detector Standard Temperature 55000-400APO

Apollo XP95 Heat Detector Standard Temperature 55000-400APO

Apollo XP95 Heat Detector Standard Temperature 55000-400APOThe XP95 Heat Detector monitors temperature by using a single thermistor which provides a count output proportional to the external air temperature. The XP95 range features two heat detectors standard and high temperature. The standard heat detector is classified as an A2S device and will report an alarm at 55C. The high temperature detector classified as a CS device will report an alarm at 90C.Brand InformationThe XP95 range of analogue addressable fire detectors uses tried and trusted technology to give the best performance and has unique features that benefit the installer and the end user. It is suitable for medium-to-large applications with simple installation requirements. As it operates using digital communication XP95 has a high immunity from corruption and is therefore often preferred in a large system where life safety is critical. XP95 products are frequently used in commercial industrial financial government ITtelecoms and healthcare applications.OperationThe XP95 heat detectors have a low air flow resistance case made of self-extinguishing white polycarbonate. The devices monitor heat by using a single thermistor network which provides a voltage output proportional to the external air temperature. The standard heat detectors 55000-400 and 55000-420 respond to increasing air temperature in such a way that they are classified as an A2S device. Both devices will give 55 counts at 55C. A high temperature CS heat detector 55000-401 which can be installed in a typical ambient temperature of 55C is available. This device will give 55 counts at 90C.Key FeaturesIdeal in environments that are dirty or smoky under normal conditionsWell-suited to warehouses loading bays and car parksUnaffected by wind or atmospheric pressureOther part codes include AD-2002
