Made of an unbleached cotton and linen blend, the Hilba overshirt has a relaxed, straight fit and it is printed in the Pulloposti pattern. The overshirt has a pointed collar, a button closure, a chest pocket, and side slits at the hemline. The cuffed sleeves have button closures. The fabric is printed in Helsinki. This fabric is printed with natural willow, a plant-based dye. The colour may fade a little during the first few washes and use. Maija Isola drew inspiration for her work from her countless trips around the world. Pulloposti (message in a bottle) was originally part of a collection entitled Aurinko ja Meri (The Sun and the Sea), in which patterns were inspired by the island of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea.
