Gameplay Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure takes us on a journey to worlds known from the above-mentioned paintings. During the game, we visit, among others, the American wilderness known from Cars, the South American jungle from the Departure and Paris from Ratatuja. Players take control of individual heroes during the most important moments and situations from the movies - to complete the tasks they are faced with, they must demonstrate dexterity and speed, as well as the ability to arrange puzzles, logical thinking and associating facts. While the gameplay in Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure does not differ much from the genre scheme, the controls in the console version of the game deserve a separate mention. If we decide to play with Kinect, during the struggle we have to control the characters visible on the screen by making certain gestures in front of the camera; from time to time the title also requires a voice command.

Chicory: A Colorful Tale is an adventure game enriched with solutions taken from the production of the metroidvania type. The independent studio Dumb and Fat Games founded by Greg Lobanov, whose portfolio includes the warmly received Wandersong, is behind the development of this title. This production was created, among others, thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign on the Kickstarter website. Chicory: A Colorful Tale takes us on a journey to Picnic Province - a fantastic land inhabited only by animals bearing names borrowed from the names of dishes. When a hare artist named Cykoria (called Chicory), who made sure that this place sparkled with a riot of colors, disappears without a trace, her biggest fan, a dog named Pizza, follows in her footsteps. In addition to the sympathy with her, the protagonist has another reason for this; a dark forest appeared on the outskirts of Picnic Province, which absorbed all the colors, causing numerous problems for its inhabitants. Our pupil has nothing else to do but grab the magic brush of Cykoria and try to restore the old order and at the same time try to find his idol. In Chicory: A Colorful Tale, the action is shown from a bird's eye view. The driving force of the game are tasks commissioned by the inhabitants of the picturesque Picnic Province. While the completion of some missions pushes the story forward, others are completely optional, although we receive useful rewards for completing them. The presented world consists of both idyllic landscapes and several towns. During the game, we constantly use the magic Chicory brush (we control it with the mouse cursor), which we can freely paint on the board. In this way, we not only restore the land to its former colors, but also solve environmental puzzles, thanks to which we can get to places inaccessible in other ways. However, we do not have all the brush options right away; most of its powers must be unlocked by finding the appropriate upgrades, the first of which is fluorescent paint, which is indispensable when traveling through tunnels bathed in darkness. In addition, the so-called styles that give our paintings the desired shape and affect the structure of the paint are waiting to be found. All this is complemented by carefully hidden clothes for the protagonist, as well as furniture and plants, which can then be used to decorate his home and garden. All this makes it worthwhile to look into every corner while playing, and from time to time - return to already visited locations to explore their previously missed secrets.
