Mermaid Gin Presented in a stunning "fish-scale" like bottle with a cork stopper, this gin has been hand-crafted on the Isle of Wight (a small island off the south coast of the UK) since 2014. The Isle of Wight Distillery use ten ethically sourced botanicals in the creation of Mermaid Gin. This signature gin was named after the lead botanical (rock samphire), which is known locally in the Isle of Wight as "Mermaid's kiss". This succulent is aromatic, and clings to the cliffs surrounding the island, and they mark the high tide line on the beautiful beaches it's known for. Like the kiss of the mythical mermaid (which saved sailors lost at sea), the rock samphire was a signal that shipwrecked sailors (and smugglers through history!) were safe from the raging seas. The samphire gives fresh citrus notes, as well as a delicate hint of fresh sea air. Other botanicals in this gin include elderflower for its aroma, grains of paradise for a smooth delicate pepper taste, organic lemon zest for vibrant citrus notes, boadicea hops which give a spicy earthiness, coriander which adds a delicate herbal citrus tone, angelica root which assists in blending the other botanicals into a coherent taste and aroma, liquorice root to help define the mouthfeel and add a touch of smoothness, orris root which aids in holding the aroma of the gin, and lastly (but no means least), juniper which is core in all gins.  It delivers a smooth yet complex blend of fresh organic lemon zest and peppery grains of paradise, with a hint of sea air from the locally foraged, fragrant rock samphire. Minke Irish Gin The founders of the Clonakilty distillery (located on the southwest coast of Ireland), the Scully family, have farmed their windswept coastal area of 9 successive generations. Through their love of the land, and knowledge of the area they found the best resouces for a maritime distillery. The distillery itself is located right at the waterfront, in the heart of Clonakilty town. Not only do they distill here, but also offer the public the option to see how their fantastic drinks are made. Produced at their distillery, Minke Irish gin is inspired by the maritime environment. From the Minke Whales seen swimming off the coast (giving their gin its name), to the Rock Samphire, a key botanical in their gin. This is sustainably harvested by hand from the Atlantic Ocean coastline and gives the gin a distinctly martitime flavour. Centuries of sea mist, soft rain and ocean spray provide a complexity to the soil that permeates through to the grass which feeds the cows that help produce whey. It is this whey that is used to create the base alcohol spirit used in making their Minke gin. It also gives a unique velvety texture and mouthfeel to it. This truly is a full circle gin, going 'from grass to glass'. On the nose this is crisp and dry, reminiscent of a sea breeze. The flavour is also fresh and zesty. Brouwerij Verhofstede Edelweiss Noten Likeur The history of Brouwerij Verhofstede dates back to 1885, and Stefanie De Jaegher (who later married Julien Verhofstede). Initially Beer was brewed, but in the 1960's a move into spirits occured. Now with over 130 years of experience, and four generations of the same family they continue to create a range of delicious drinks. In creating their dark brown, flavourful noten (nut) liqueur, Brouwerij Verhofstede use only fresh unripened walnuts. This is made only once a year, and the process is completed in a single day. When initially produced, the liqueur has a greenish hue to it. However, it is aged which results in a darkening of the liqueur, and the delicious nutty taste is developed.  More from Brouwerij Verhofstede Perfect Serve The distillers believe this is best drunk as a digestive - and we certainly don't disagree! Licor 43 Original (Mini) 5cl

Licor 43 Original This Spanish liquer was first produced by the Zamora family in Spain, Licor 43 has a a history which goes back to 1946. In fact, it was inspired by a golden and aromatic elixir called Liqvor Mirabilis which was banned by the Romans! With the arrival of tourism in the 60's the world discovered Licor 43, and it truly became a taste of Spain to many. Now in the 21st century, Licor 43 is available in well over fifty countries, and is the most international Spanish liqueur.  Licor 43 liqueur is exceptionally smooth, and has a instantly recognisable golden colour. The name hints at the recipe, with there being 43 all natural ingredients involved in its creation.  The bright golden hue of the drink really does reflect its Mediterranean heritage, evoking feelings of sun drenched golden beaches.  Whilst Licor 43 is a secret blend, it has a complex flavour profile. It is sweet, with a strong blend of citrus. There is a mild spiciness, with a touch of coriander, and floral notes from soft orange and lemon blossoms. There are botanical notes, and a hint of fruity warmth from ripe fruit. Once blended, the liqueur is rested between 6 and 9 months, so as to develop the flavours.  Read more about Licor 43 Perfect Serve Licor 43 is extremely smooth, so very easily drunk on its own or over ice. But for those of you a little more adventurous, or who want to try something new - we have three cocktail options. For a Ginger hit, try a Ginger 43. In a glass filled with ice, add 50ml of Licor 43 and 200ml of Ginger Ale (We like Double Dutch for this). Add the juice of half a lime and stir gently. Garnish with a slice of lime. For a deliciously fruity and sweet warm drink (perfect for cold days / evenings), try a Hot Apple 43. Heat 150ml of apple juice with a stick of cinnamon in it (warm it, don't boil!). Add the licor 43 in and remove the cinnamon stick. Pour into a glass. If you're feeling decadent, garnish with some whipped cream, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. The Mayor of Exploration: Rynbende Vintage Genever Introduction Rynbende have a history going back more than 200 years. The distillery was established in 1793, by Simon Rybende in the world's Jenever capital, Schiedam. A former sailor, he turned to business, and distilling, and was even appointed the Mayor of Schiedam. A New Generation of Rynbende The Rynbende brand has had highs and lows during it's history and was re-ignited again in 2022, when the original Rynbende recipes were passed down to another generation through inheritance . Now called Rynbende Spirits, the focus is on producing high end spirits, with a selective distribution network (of which Gin Fling is happy to be one). Authentic Rynbended Botanicals Rynbender Vintage Genever was the first spirit to be launched and based on an old recipe found in the inherited recipe book. 'The Mayor of Exploration' is an old genever and is an ode to the glory days of the original distillery, containing authentic botanicals (peppermint leaf, angelica seed, cinnamon, clove, hyssop, angelica root, cardamom and mace) which gave it it's signature taste, setting it apart from the competition. Traditional Distilling Rynbende is distilled according to the Schiedam tradition from 1902, which produces a purer drink. It is made with malt wine that has been aged for 3 years in American oak barrels, and with smoky malt whiskey and vodka aged in European oak barrels for 25 years. This is a drink that will suit both jenever and whiskey lovers alike.
