Bareksten Illsint Absinthe Zoals alle Bareksten-drankjes, wordt hun Absint ook geproduceerd door Oss Craft Distillery in hun distilleerderij in Bergen, Noorwegen. Bareksten haalt zijn inspiratie uit de Noorse bossen. De lange dagen zonlicht in de zomer, gecombineerd met veel regen en warm weer zorgen voor perfecte groeiomstandigheden voor een aantal kruiden en bessen. Deze Scandinavische, natuurlijke en biologische kruiden, aardappelen en bessen vormen de basis voor de unieke smaken van Bareksten. In hun Absint hebben ze een bijna oogverblindende 60% alcoholische drank gecreëerd met subtiele anijs- en alsemtonen, samen met de gebruikelijke Noorse kruidenbotanica die gebruikelijk zijn in het Bareksten-assortiment. Interessant feit: een algemeen aangenomen overtuiging dat Absint hallucinaties veroorzaakt, is volkomen onjuist! Deze onwaarheid was de reden dat het historisch in een aantal landen werd verboden. Sinds het is bewezen dat het niet waar is, heeft het een heropleving gekend en wordt het opnieuw genoten.
