To further raise the bar, the creators improved the artificial intelligence of the opponents, making the clashes with the computer even more demanding. These solutions go hand in hand with changes that make fun easier, such as improving the interface or handling the inventory of units. The game runs on the significantly improved GEM 2 engine. Old models have been replaced with new ones, the quality of textures has been improved and new graphic effects have been added. In addition, Men of War: Assault Squad 2 uses multi-core processors, which translates into higher performance, and supports modern technologies, incl. Shader Model. Among them we will find both ground units, such as infantry, support vehicles, light and heavy tanks and artillery, as well as air units, such as combat helicopters and jet fighters. The mainstay of Men of War: Assault Squad 2 - Cold War is a procedurally generated campaign. Before starting it, we can choose the length we are interested in, and after its completion (alone or in cooperation), the game allows us to both continue playing in the endless mode and start the struggle again, changing various parameters (such as the level of difficulty, the number of available resources or factions present on the battlefield). For fans of multiplayer competition, the Combined Troops mode has been prepared, in which the gameplay consists in capturing the designated points, as well as the Annihilation mode, where we try to take over the enemy base, trying to secure as many available resources as possible. The mainstay of Men of War: Assault Squad 2 - Cold War is a procedurally generated campaign. Before starting it, we can choose the length we are interested in, and after its completion (alone or in cooperation), the game allows us to both continue playing in the endless mode and start the struggle again, changing various parameters (such as the level of difficulty, the number of available resources or factions present on the battlefield). For fans of multiplayer competition, the Combined Troops mode has been prepared, in which the gameplay consists in capturing the designated points, as well as the Annihilation mode, where we try to take over the enemy base, trying to secure as many available resources as possible.
