Carrier 9-30855-18 EN 54-4 approved 24 V 5 A 0.7 A Intelligent Power Supply

Carrier 9-30855-18 EN 54-4 approved 24 V 5 A 0.7 A Intelligent Power SupplyThe 9-30855-18 is a fully featured 24 V EN54-4 approved power supply ideal for use in fire system applications. The output current is split between the load and charging the batteries. It features intelligent battery charging monitoring and signaling while providing deep discharge protection to prevent premature battery failure when operating from standby for extended periods. On the front of the unit diagnostic LEDs indicate the status of the power supply with various flash patterns to ensure accurate diagnostics when the unit is in fault. The range is available in different size of output currents with support for various sizes of batteries.Installer friendlyThe power supply is supplied in a self-contained wall mounting box that can also house 18 Ah batteries not included.Selection of the battery size is easy with the use of a jumper. Similarly a jumper is used to select between dual-path or two individual outputs. With this feature mission critical applications can be powered ensuring redundancy in the supply of 24 V to the load.On the front of the unit 6 LEDs indicated the status of the power supply. To aid with the interpretation of the meaning of the LEDs a legend is used on the front of the unit. Additionally there is also a diagnostics LED that with different flash patterns indicated even more detailed information.A potential-free contact is used to signal faults due to output failure battery fault charger fault or internal fault. A second potential-free contact signals the loss of mains power.EN 54-4 approved 24 V 5 A 0.7 A intelligent power supplyApproved to EN54-4 VdS certifiedSelf contained box houses 18 Ah batteriesDeep battery discharge protectionDiagnostics leds on front of housing2 x relay outputsDetailsApproved to EN54-4 VdS certifiedSelf contained box houses 18 Ah batteriesDeep battery discharge protectionDiagnostics leds on front of housing2 x relay outputsDual load connection terminalsWide input voltage range

Lexicomm ViLX-IPA IP66 Weatherproof Type A Fire Telephone

Lexicomm ViLX-IPA IP66 Weatherproof Type A Fire TelephoneThe ViLX-IPA is a type A EVCS outstation for use in outdoor or exposed areas and is compatible with the Lexicomm standalone and network EVCS systems. The outstation is supplied within an compact IP65 enclosure which is externally signed as required by Building Regulations Approved Document B. The enclosure is opened by operation of a lever lock exposing the handset allowing a call to be made a key lock option is available.Lexicomm IP66 weather proof Type A fire telephone is supplied in a sheet steel enclosure colour grey RAL 7035 with a red high-contrast signage with hinged door and thumb-turn lock for access. Locking option available.Key FeaturesIP65 cased type A HandsetSurface mountFully Monitored to BS5839-92011Red status LEDInduction loop in HandsetVAD Available for Steward Telephone systems.Twist lock or Key lock optionSuitabilityThe ViLX-IPA is a Type A outstation as defined in BS5839-92011 and is designed to be used by the trained staff such as fire marshals and stewards in outdoor environments. Type A outstations should be placed in fire telephone locations as described in Building Regulations Approved Document B and BS99992017 or in stewards telephone locations as described in the FSADC deisign guide.Mounting the UnitThe ViLX-IPA unit should be mounted at a height of 1300mm to 1400mm from the centre line to the finished floor level to comply with the requirements of BS5839pt92011 When drilling any holes for cable access ensure any bare metal is treated with an antioxidant primer and all cable glands meet IP65 and are correctly tightened. Ensure all mounting holes have the screw seals correctly fitted failure to ensure this will compromise the IP rating of the enclosure.

Ziton ZP3AB-NLM3 Class-A Network Loop Module

Ziton ZP3AB-NLM3 Class-A Network Loop Module

Ziton ZP3AB-NLM3 Class-A Network Loop ModuleThe ZP3AB-NLM network loop module enables individual ZP3 control panels to be connected in a peer to peer secure loop network. If there is an open or short circuit present on the network wiring the NLMs determine where the fault lies isolate the faulty section of wiring and maintain full loop integrity.Total cable length throughout the network can be up to a maximum of two kilometres and may be extended by setting designated NLM modules as booster units contact Ziton technical support department for full details. Communication between loop modules operates by RS485 protocol over screened twisted pair wiring.Unique address on the network loopZP3AB-NLM3 modules connect to ZP3 control panels via a ZP3AB-NET1 card and are designed to fit onto an auxiliary chassis inside each control panel or auxiliary equipment cabinet. Each ZP3 control panel is connected to the loop network through an ZP3AB-NLM3 module. All modules incorporate switch settings enabling them to be assigned a unique loop address. An output fault signal is provided by a volt free changeover relay with contacts rated at 1A at 230VDC30VAC.Diagnostic and system indicationIn each network loop one module must be set to address 1 and designated as the master. This device manages the healing sequence and monitors loop integrity. All other modules are connected to the network loop in slave mode.In slave mode modules can operate in multiple modesBoost - serving as an interconnection between panels at distances over 1000 metresHealing establishing the condition of the loop and isolating sections if necessaryRecovered normal condition after a section isolationDiagnostic system interrogation to establish the location of a break in the loop wiringIn addition to indications of data being transmitted and received from each port LED indicators are also provided for System OK Loop Fault Loop Open and Data Error.Key FeaturesProvides a secure loop networkEnhanced LED diagnosticsBoost mode for long cable runsPropagation time periods for third party equipment operationCommunications screen isolation between input and output channels
