In this fabric, we combine the two qualities, giving you a light and soft material with good breathability and comfortable stretch.  Colourful designs Whether you prefer black and white, earthy tones or vibrant colours – you'll find the entire colour palette in this fabric. Choose one or more favourites, get out your sewing machine, and sew your new outfit.  The material is suitable for almost all types of clothing, but of course, we have some favourites.  One of them is the classic top. Once you've found the right fit, you can easily change its look by simply choosing a new colour. Or how about making small adjustments in the design, so you have your favourite top with short, ¾, and long sleeves?  The fabric is suitable for much more than classic tops! Use it for dresses, leggings, trousers, and skirts. Find plenty of inspiration in our sewing patterns or design your own favourite.  A bit of practicality Viscose has been used for clothing for over 100 years. The fabric consists of processed and regenerated cellulose from sources like wood pulp or cotton waste. It's similar to natural fibres like cotton and silk. Here, the viscose is mixed with elastane (6%), giving you a stretchable viscose.  You choose the length you need for your sewing project. The fabric measures 145 cm in width and shrinks by 6% when washed.  When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterised by having a medium point – also known as ball point. Lovely, high-quality thread made of 100 % polyester. The thread has high elasticity. It is core spun, which means that it is compact and durable, and sheds little fibre. You can use it for backstitch but it's also great for larger projects sewn on an overlocker. The 1000-metre spool is efficient on a sewing machine. You can use it for a long time without having to re-thread your machine. The sewing thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified and available in a sea of beautiful colours.

Sew Your Own Rainwear When sewing your own rainwear, choosing the right material is essential to ensure your new rainwear keeps you dry. This fabric is a good choice, as you get a quality that is lightweight, practical, windproof and waterproof with a water column pressure of 5,000 mm.  Choose from several beautiful colours.  Rainwear That Fits Design rainwear that's not just functional, but also stylish and personal. When you sew your own rainwear, you have the opportunity to tailor it to your needs and preferences. Adjust the design to fit your exact figure and add pockets and other details to suit your needs.  To ensure your rainwear remains waterproof, it's important to seal the seams by making the correct stitches: Search for "seam tape for rainwear fabric" and find a free guide.  About Water Column Pressure Water column pressure indicates how large a column of water the material can withstand before water begins to penetrate. The higher the water column pressure, the more waterproof it is. A good rule of thumb is that +2,000 mm is good for light rain showers/short trips in the rain, while +5,000 is for a heavier rain shower or a couple of hours with light rain. If you're going to be out in heavy rain, we recommend +8,000 mm.  Some Practical Information This fabric consists of 65% polyester and 35% polyurethane. This ORGANIC French terry is brushed on the wrong side. It is made of 100 % organic cotton. French terry is ideal for making casual garments, such as sweatshirts, jogging pants, sweat dresses, etc. We recommend that you wash your fabric before cutting, as you can expect French terry to shrink. To avoid running short of fabric for your sewing project, check the fabric shrinkage percentage before you buy it.
