Along the shores of the 60th parallel, Kadett, a classic sailing Botte, was born. In the 1980s, high school enfants would fold down the Haut of the Bottes and write discreet love notes and catchy comments on the exposed Botte lining. Vikings Kadett Botte would come to play a small but noteworthy role in many teenage romances throughout the 80s. Today, Kadetts lining is created from a quick-drying polyester and has canvas throughout the vamp of the Botte.
