Raggiungere un buon livello d?indipendenza degli arti è fondamentale per qualsiasi batterista. Molti però incontrano i seguenti problemi: la mano sinistra copia la destra, il piede sinistro copia il destro oppure il piede sinistro copia la mano sinistra ed il piede destro copia la mano destra. Inoltre molti batteristi hanno tendenza a suonare delle figure automatiche senza poter modificare lo schema ritmico di uno degli arti, a rischio di destabilizzare gli altri. Questo metodo ha quindi come obiettivo di tagliare i "legami invisibili" che collegano mani e piedi in modo da avere un controllo indipendente di ognuno di loro, e ciò spontaneamente. E visto che è fondamentale che la tecnica rimanga al servizio della musica, ogni esercizio verràapplicato in un contesto musicale che prende in considerazione i diversi stili. Il CD riprende i numerosi esercizi nonché le loro applicazioni musicali in modo da aiutarvi nella comprensione del metodo.

He shows where to find the melody, and where adjacent double stops are located, as well as licks and phrases that suit each song. Attention is given to both playing a melody-based solo and what a fiddle can do to assist the band sound in accompaniment.
