The authors drew the greatest inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft, so it's no wonder that the game is kept in a heavy, dark and full of horror atmosphere. In Pursuit of Loath Nolder is the first part of the series planned for three installments. The story begins in November 2011, in the Lovecraftian town of Hilltown. The main character of the game is a police detective Howard E. Loreid, who is tasked with unraveling the murder of Clark Field, an influential man who is fascinated by magic and the occult. The suspect is a certain Loath Nolder, a once successful private investigator. Nolder's past is full of mysterious events - one day Loath severed all ties with family and friends and for five years disappeared in the darkest corners of Africa. Exactly what he did there is unknown, but the experience he gained there completely changed him. When he returned from his mysterious journeys, however, he agreed to accept the task of finding Clark Field. The effect, however, was far from what was expected - the detective himself ended up being a murder suspect. The plot looks quite encouraging, and this is not the only argument that the game's creators have at their disposal. We are dealing with a large number of classic elements for adventure games and detective games, but there are several novelties, and a large caliber of them. When it comes to the first ones, they undoubtedly include the point & click interface with a choice of options such as pick up, put away, open or use. During the game, the atmosphere of mystery and danger lurks just around the corner. Every step we come across references to Lovecraft, Necronomicon and Abdul al Hazred. The main character moves through locations such as dark and damp underground passages, strange ruins, mysterious mansions and old cemeteries. Permanent elements are the ubiquitous shadows and fog, and everything is sprinkled with chilling music and sound effects. When it comes to novelties, the most important are two. One is related to the main character's perception of the world. And so, at the moment when the detective gets particularly agitated, the way of observing the surroundings will change. For example, when Howard gets scared, the field of view will shift rapidly, blurring the image, as if the protagonist were making quick movements of his head in different directions. The way new information is provided and tips are obtained has also been treated in a quite unique way. Well, in Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder, information can be used just like items. This means that the right combination of two clues will lead to the acquisition of a new one. Similarly, you can get hints from people you meet or from elements of the environment.

The player is introduced to a brand new area called Hope County, which offers great views characteristic for the American state. He has a certain mission to complete and it only depends on him how he will cope with it. He has a mission to complete and it's up to him how he tackles it, with new, deadly weapons and vehicles to help him traverse the wild woods, lakes and grasslands. An interesting novelty in the game, which is worth mentioning, is the lack of towers and mini-map. From now on, in order to find the way, the player has to use his skills, which only shows that the creators put more and more emphasis on realism.  Gameplay and Game Mode As in previous parts of the series, the action in Far Cry 5 is presented from a first-person perspective. At the very beginning the player creates a character. He can choose both his appearance and gender. Then, thanks to the experience gained in the game, he can develop special, very useful skills of his character, which will help him in open combat with opponents, as well as those focused on the quiet elimination of opponents. Another interesting feature of Far Cry 5 is the fact that the game can be completed not only alone, but also in the company of another player. The co-op mode introduced by the developers covers the entire campaign and all side activities. Storyline The action of Far Cry 5 takes place in a fictional Hope County located in the American state of Montana. The player takes on the role of a policeman or policewoman whose task is to uncover and destroy a fanatical religious cult. The cult is led by Joseph Seed, who ruthlessly deals with those he considers enemies. Before dealing with him, however, the player must liberate the three main regions of Hope County, ruled by two brothers and the half-sister of the main antagonist. Of course, it should be added that the protagonist does not act alone and can always count on the help of characters encountered during the game, such as sniper Grace Armstrong, pilot Nick Rye, helicopter pilot Adelaide Drubman, or Hurk Drubman Jr. known from the previous parts. Reception Far Cry 5 on PC received positive reviews. First of all, players liked the open world that the game offers and the presence of many enemies and allies. For the vast majority, the main advantage was the great freedom in attacking enemies and powerful explosions against the background of majestic nature. Players also rated with approval many other elements of the game, such as the large map, engaging missions, fantastic music, the ability to search abandoned houses in forests and factories, and the presence of a charismatic, intelligent anti-hero. Additionally, according to reviewers, the references to American culture and stereotypes, as well as the system of acquiring quests from NPCs, which has been improved compared to the previous parts of the series, also deserve recognition.

The player is introduced to a brand new area called Hope County, which offers great views characteristic for the American state. He has a certain mission to complete and it only depends on him how he will cope with it. He has a mission to complete and it's up to him how he tackles it, with new, deadly weapons and vehicles to help him traverse the wild woods, lakes and grasslands. An interesting novelty in the game, which is worth mentioning, is the lack of towers and mini-map. From now on, in order to find the way, the player has to use his skills, which only shows that the creators put more and more emphasis on realism.  Gameplay and Game Mode As in previous parts of the series, the action in Far Cry 5 is presented from a first-person perspective. At the very beginning the player creates a character. He can choose both his appearance and gender. Then, thanks to the experience gained in the game, he can develop special, very useful skills of his character, which will help him in open combat with opponents, as well as those focused on the quiet elimination of opponents. Another interesting feature of Far Cry 5 is the fact that the game can be completed not only alone, but also in the company of another player. The co-op mode introduced by the developers covers the entire campaign and all side activities. Storyline The action of Far Cry 5 takes place in a fictional Hope County located in the American state of Montana. The player takes on the role of a policeman or policewoman whose task is to uncover and destroy a fanatical religious cult. The cult is led by Joseph Seed, who ruthlessly deals with those he considers enemies. Before dealing with him, however, the player must liberate the three main regions of Hope County, ruled by two brothers and the half-sister of the main antagonist. Of course, it should be added that the protagonist does not act alone and can always count on the help of characters encountered during the game, such as sniper Grace Armstrong, pilot Nick Rye, helicopter pilot Adelaide Drubman, or Hurk Drubman Jr. known from the previous parts. Reception Far Cry 5 on PC received positive reviews. First of all, players liked the open world that the game offers and the presence of many enemies and allies. For the vast majority, the main advantage was the great freedom in attacking enemies and powerful explosions against the background of majestic nature. Players also rated with approval many other elements of the game, such as the large map, engaging missions, fantastic music, the ability to search abandoned houses in forests and factories, and the presence of a charismatic, intelligent anti-hero. Additionally, according to reviewers, the references to American culture and stereotypes, as well as the system of acquiring quests from NPCs, which has been improved compared to the previous parts of the series, also deserve recognition.

The clashes take place in turn-based mode, and during them we use cards corresponding to specific attacks, such as throwing the enemy through the back, knockout or even a double kick. We build the deck by choosing from over 150 cards, which allows us to adapt it to our individual style of play and the problems that we have to face at the moment. As the opponents most often have a large advantage over us in numbers, if we want to win, we must also remember about the correct positioning of the hero on the battlefield. Although the level of challenges facing us increases as we progress, over time we gain improvements that allow us to properly prepare to face them.
