Released on PC and PS4, Strikers Edge is an isometric arcade dodgebrawl (dodgeball, dodgeball) game that allows players to fight shooting duels with the participation of various historical and fantastic warriors. The independent studio Fun Punch Games is responsible for creating this production, while Playdius and Plug In Digital were responsible for its release. The rules of Strikers Edge on PC and PS4 are very simple. We choose our player from a list of several different characters in terms of weapons and style (Eir - Valkyrie, Argalus - Spartan, Urgul - Barbarian, Lael - Archer, Galad - Knight, Bjerg - Viking, Tamsin - Sorcerer, Haru - Ninja), and then we try to defeat the opponent (or opponents) in a ranged fight. Each of the few arenas available in the game are designed in such a way that it is impossible to reach the enemy physically - both playing fields are always separated, be it by water or an abyss. So the only thing left is to use small arms and throwables. The game has single-player campaigns related to specific heroes, but the main point of the program here is definitely the multiplayer mode. We can play locally, on one screen, or via the Internet. Strikers Edge allows you to fight 1vs1 and 2vs2. The game is integrated with Twitch to allow for easy broadcasting of gameplay fragments and has a ranking that allows us to know how we are doing compared to other people.
